In a close collaboration with the Sofia Opera and Ballet, Elektrick.me worked on a large-scale project, “Der Ring des Nibelungen”, a tetralogy by Richard Wagner, total duration of 15 hours.
A 3D mapping and the multimedia projections were created for stage sets that were moved by hydraulic mechanisms and remotely-controlled electric motors. Content reproduction was in real time, synchronized with music and the conductor’s tempo-rhythm.
Professor Plamen Kartalov, General Project Producer and Director of the Sofia Opera and Ballet, evaluated the artistic approaches and the multimedia design: ” The multimedia for each part of the “Ring of the Nibelung” project impressed the audience and the foreign critics through its variety and rich fantasy.
